Yujin is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher based in the Netherlands and South Korea. Through her practice, she traces the fragile intersections of the individual and society, trauma and memory, and the body and perception. Her work carries a persistent curiosity about equality and justice, approached with empathy and subtle tension.
Working with performance, ceramics, interactive prototypes, installation, and performance film, Yujin dissects and rebuilds societal structures. Tiny gestures, fleeting interactions, and overlooked traces become sites where hidden connections quietly surface.
Recent hands-on experience has sharpened her perception of how humans, society, and the environment entwine, not just to be observed, but to be sensed, intuited, and lived.
Her current work extends this exploration to the sea, women’s labor, survival ethics, and indigenous knowledge.
